The Institute coordinates several national projects - "Cancer control", "Cardiovascular diseases control", "Development of medical services export". The Deputy Director is also responsible for monitoring activities aimed at controlling tuberculosis in Russia and coordinating activities aimed at modernization of primary health care. The Deputy Director also supervises the CompetenceCenter for Digital Transformation of the Healthcare Sector within the framework of the "Development of the EGISZ*-based unified digital network in healthcare " national project.
