RIH took part in CIS Economic Council’s meeting of Healthcare Committee

The event was held on July 19. The participants considered the draft Action Plan for implementation of the Strategy "National health in CIS member states".

On July 19, Moscow office of the CIS Executive Committee hosted a meeting of the Commission on Economic Issues under the CIS Economic Council, where the draft Action Plan for implementation of the Strategy "CIS member states’ population health" for 2024-2025 was considered.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.

Among representatives of the Russian side, RIH employees - Deputy Director for Health Economics Olga Obukhova and Head of International Affairs Department Maria Shevchenko took part in the meeting.

The draft Plan was developed by the CIS Designated Organization of Public Health and Healthcare Digital Transformation and the CIS Network of Institutes for Public Health and Healthcare Digital Transformation. The document was developed in pursuance of the CIS Council of Heads decision and paragraph 47, Section X of the Strategy "Public Health of the Commonwealth of Independent States".
