RIH hosted a roundtable discussion on the terminology in the field of Finance and Health economics

On February 9, 2022, a roundtable discussion on the translation of terms in the field of Finance and Health economics was hosted by the RIH, who offered to take over the lead role in the this area. The meeting was held in an online format with the participation of the WHO Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe) and experts from the CIS member countries.

During the discussion session, the experts of the RIH presented draft proposals on the translation of terms to the CIS member countries for further discussion. The participants discussed organizational issues of work on the document and also made their comments and proposals on the document.

It is expected that this glossary will contribute to experts and translators in the uniform interpretation of terms relevant to today's agenda in the field of Finance and Health economics.

Following the discussion, participants supported the creation of a working group to work on the document on a virtual platform. The official publication of the glossary is planned for June-July 2022.
