Delegation from Kazakhstan visited RIH to exchange ideas on healthcare digital transformation.

Everyday life of modern man is hard to imagine without digital technologies. Gadgets with automated control and artificial intelligence are embedded in everyday life - from communications and entertainment to industry and science. This also applies to healthcare. Informatization of health protection and healthcare is currently one of the priority tasks in many countries of the world. This issue became one of the key ones during Kazakhstani guest’s reception in RIH.

Delegation from the National Scientific Center for Healthcare Development named after S. Kairbekova (Astana) came to RIH on a working trip to build international relations and share experience in creating legal and technological conditions for competent digital transformation of healthcare.

During the three-day meetings with the RIH experts, in addition to digitalization, the issues of education and scientific cooperation were considered. Rashid Ismailov, Director of eHealth Standards Department of the NRCHD of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, voiced interest in cooperation between scientific institutions of the two countries in such areas as statistics, eHealth standards and methodology, as well as personnel observatory.

At the end of the visit Rashid Ismailov and RIH Director Olga Kobyakova signed an agreement on cooperation, providing for interaction and partnership between the NRCHD of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and RIH in the field of improving quality of healthcare organization, informatization, medical education and science, providing expert and advisory assistance, etc.
